Tampa, Florida, September 2022 – Piedmont Plastics, one of North America’s leading distributers of plastic sheet, rod, tube, and film materials, has once again been recognized by the International Association of Plastics Distribution (IAPD) for our innovative educational initiatives and outstanding environmental stewardship.
Piedmont Plastics was honored to receive the 2022 Gold Level Education Circle of Champions award, and the 2022 Silver Level Environmental Excellence Award, at IAPD’s 66th annual convention in Tampa, Florida.
Education Award
The Education Circle of Champions award is given to IAPD member companies who emphasize continuing plastics education within their organizations. This award acknowledges our use of IAPD training resources and expansive internal training programs, which help emphasize our commitment to the industry and our core values.
The Education Circle of Champions award is awarded in three tiers: Gold, Silver, and Bronze. As a recipient of the Gold Level award, Piedmont has proven its ability to excel within the performance plastics industry. Our education and training courses, combined with the expertise of our crew, allows us to continually pursue success as North America’s most knowledgeable performance plastics distributer.
Environmental Excellence
The IAPD Environmental Committee established the award in 2008 to give special recognition to IAPD member companies who demonstrate exceptional environmental initiatives. This award also recognizes the innovative efforts of its applicants and recognizes those who have adopted sustainable practices.
This year, Piedmont was proud to have been awarded the Silver Level Environmental Excellence award, which acknowledges the innovative or exemplary environmental responsibility of IAPD member firms. This is the third year in a row Piedmont has been recognized with this award.
