Piedmont Plastics® receives IAPD Environmental Excellence Award for its environmental business practices.
October 18th, 2017 – On October 18th in Chicago, Illinois, Piedmont Plastics® was a silver–level recipient of IAPD’s Environmental Excellence Award, which celebrates environmentally responsible practices of IAPD member companies. This is the third year that Piedmont Plastics® has submitted an application to participate in IAPD’s Environmental Excellence program. Piedmont Plastics was a bronze-level recipient in 2015 and a silver-level recipient in 2016. The application covers topics such as recycling, conservation, employee engagement and community outreach.

We have effectively reduced our environmental footmark through continuous sustainability projects at many of our branches nationwide. We have improved our environmental awareness with the formation of a company-wide green team, plastic reclamation program, and a Natural Solutions Product line drawing attention to products containing recycled material. We are proud of this environmental achievement and look forward to the continuous improvement of our corporate sustainability practices.
