Piedmont Plastics® receives IAPD Environmental Excellence Award for its environmental business practices.
October 7th, 2016 – On October 7th in Phoenix, Arizona, Piedmont Plastics® was a silver–level recipient of IAPD’s Environmental Excellence Award, which celebrates environmentally responsible practices of IAPD member companies. This is the second year that Piedmont Plastics® has submitted an application to participate in IAPD’s Environmental Excellence program. Piedmont Plastics was a bronze-level recipient in 2015. The application covers topics such as recycling, conservation, employee engagement and community outreach.

We have effectively reduced our environmental footmark through continuous sustainability projects at many of our branches nationwide. We have improved our environmental awareness with the formation of a company-wide green team, plastic reclamation program, and a Natural Solutions Product line drawing attention to products containing recycled material. We are proud of this environmental achievement and look forward to the continuous improvement of our corporate sustainability practices.
