Technical Data Sheet NECAL 9501 PRESSURE SENSITIVE ADHESIVE DESCRIPTION NECAL 9501 is an unsupported lm of low surface energy pressure sensitive adhesive displaying excellent bond characteristics and initial tack. It is an excellent option for lm and foil tapes metal laminates transfer tapes mounting foams and multi-purpose laminations. This adhesive is used in Appliance Automotive Transportation Industrial Equipment Recreational Equipment Marine and Electronic Applications. FEATURES NECAL 9501 is designed for polypropylene polyethylene and other low surface energy plastics. NECAL 9501 also has good adhesion to glass. All tests conducted with a 2 mil PET backing BONDING INSTRUCTIONS Remove the release liner and apply to a clean dry substrate. Use rm pressure to obtain maximum contact. Use of air hydraulic or mechanical bonding press is recommended with pressure of 40-60 psi. with a dwell time of 2-5 seconds. STORAGE DATA The shelf life of this material is at least two years when stored at 72F and 50 relative humidity. Increased temperatures andor humidity will aect performance characteristics.
