Technical Data Sheet NECAL 3412 REPOSITIONABLE PRESSURE SENSITIVE ADHESIVE DESCRIPTION NECAL 3412 is a repositionable pressure sensitive adhesive that displays high tack and with no residue from most surfaces. This repositionable adhesive will adhere to face stock materials such as PET mylar vinyl acrylic and styrene and is removable from the surface substrate it is applied to such as glass metal or painted surfaces. This adhesive is an excellent option for protective lms masking tapes temporary labelsdecals point-of-purchase and removable vinyl sign graphics. PHYSICAL PROPERTIES Thickness without liner 2 mils Release Liner Available with P or W liners 180 Peel from Stainless Steel repositionable side 2.0 lbs. after 16-hour dwell PSTC-101 Temperature Range Application 50F. Minimum Service -40F. to 195 F All tests conducted with a 2 mil PET backing BONDING INSTRUCTIONS Remove the release liner and apply to a clean dry substrate. Use rm pressure to obtain maximum contact. Increasing application force will optimize bond strength to surface. The adhesive will reach maximum bond after 72 hours. STORAGE DATA The shelf life of this material is at least two years when stored at 72F and 50 relative humidity. Increased temperatures andor humidity will aect performance characteristics.
