It is a 2-mil gloss ultra-clear topcoated and scratch resistant polyester film designed for UV digital printing. The product is coated on one side with a removable clear acrylic pressure sensitive adhesive protected with a 1.4-mil Polyester release liner. VM3209R print media is a non-PVC film designed for short to medium-term advertising on glass surfaces such as glass windows displays signboards and in backlit applications. Profiles can be obtained from our Distributors or can be downloaded from www.mactac.com . Printer and heater settings and ICC profiles can also be downloaded from some O.E.M. or software manufacturers websites. The ICC profiles are provided solely as a customer resource. Print environments the individual nature of printing systems inks and software can significantly affect output. Please check the Mactac website for the latest most up-to-date version Recommendations Always test your combination of IMAGin products inks and laminating films prior to commercial use. 1 Printing Conditions Print in conditioned pressroom at 73F 23C and 50 RH. The maximum allowable ink saturation is 270. 2 Laminating Conditions Laminating is not typically required for this film. 3 Transportation Conditions To allow for easy transportation IMAGin VM3209R can be rolled up with the image out with a minimum diameter of 6 inches 15cm. When the image is not protected by an overlaminate make sure the print is completely dry and protected in a plastic bag. During transportation or storage avoid exposing them to extreme temperature and humidity changes. 4 Application The easiest way to apply this film is with the wet method. a Moisten the window and the exposed adhesive with application fluid or water. b Align your graphic on the window c Firmly press down using a felt squeegee with a left to right movement. d Wipe sides with soft cloth to remove excess application fluid. e Trim excess material away from the rubber or silicone window seals.
