Plexiglas G UF-3 Plexiglas G UF-4 CELL CAST ACRYLIC SHEET Altuglas International offers two different Plexiglas cell cast n High Performance Cell-Cast Acrylic Sheet acrylic sheet products suitable for framers museums and galleries. Both Plexiglas G UF-3 and Plexiglas G UF-4 offer n Offers superior UV protection superior optical performance and filter out over 95 of harmful UV rays from natural and artificial light sources n Exceptional Optical Clarity which makes it ideal for displaying your treasured items. Plexiglas G UF-3 offers the maximum UV protection with transmission starting at 395 nm. n Virtually no low angle distortion n Lightweight Half the weight of glass Plexiglas G UF-4 offers a slightly lower amount of UV protection with transmission starting at 385 nm. However this allows for higher overall visible light transmission which results in a sheet with slightly better edge color. Both products are suitable for museum display cases framing and any other type of project where UV protection is required. n Can be easily fabricated and thermoformed Plexiglas G UF-3 Plexiglas G UF-4 CELL CAST ACRYLIC SHEET TYPICAL STANDARD PROPERTIES - Plexiglas G UF-3 G UF-4 PROPERTIES TEST METHOD UNIT VALUE in 0.118 Specific Gravity ASTM D-792 --- 1.19 Rockwell Hardness ASTM D-785 M scale 100 Refractive Index ND 73F ASTM D-542 --- 1.49 Luminous Transmittance1 ASTM D-1003 92.0 Haze1 ASTM D-1003 2.0 Tensile Strength maximum ASTM D-638 psi 10500 Tensile Strength yield ASTM D-638 psi 10500 Tensile Elongation ASTM D-638 4.9 Tensile Modulus of Elasticity ASTM D-638 psi 450000 Thickness Sheet Size Flexural Strength maximum ASTM D-790 psi 16000 0.118 48 x 96 Flexural Modulus of Elasticity ASTM D-790 psi 450000 0.177 60 x 96 Notched Izod Impact 73F 23C ASTM D-256 ft-lb in 0.3 ASTM D-256 ft-lb 0.5x1 section 7.0 0.236 72 x 96 Un-notched Charpy 73F 23C Deflection Temperature under Flexural Load 264psi unannealed1 ASTM D-648 F 205 Coefficient of Thermal Expansion at 60F
