As manufacturers switch from paper to corrugated polypropylene packaging materials, Piedmont Plastic is ready to help with polypropylene sheet in a variety of colors and thicknesses.

Packaging Materials

In an effort to reduce costs and improve sustainability, many businesses are switching from traditional paper packaging to plastic packaging, which can be customized and reused. Ideal for produce packaging, boxes, totes, and dunnage, corrugated or fluted polypropylene offers significant benefits over other packaging materials.

Often referred to by the brand name Coroplast®, corrugated polypropylene has versatility and durability not available in other packaging materials. Unaffected by moisture, humidity, and electrostatic discharge (ESD), corrugated polypropylene can withstand harsh environments and is easily cleaned for multiple uses, resulting in a longer shelf life and reduced packaging costs. Corrugated polypropylene is available in a range of colors and thicknesses and can be made to any size specification. It also provides better protection and crush resistance for package contents than corrugated cardboard while maintaining a lightweight profile.

Piedmont Plastics carries a large inventory of fluted polypropylene in a range of thicknesses, sizes, and colors and our knowledgeable salespeople can source the perfect solution for your particular application.
